CAMMS is attached to the Faculty of Engineering and Science at Cork Institute of Technology (CIT). The Centre uses the design, build, test and validate expertise of the Faculty in solving problems for industry and in delivering up to date training and education.
CAMMS has always sought the widest possible recognition for its courses and has established relationships with a wide variety of professional bodies including; American Society for Quality, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Project Management Institute, CompTia, and City & Guilds.
All CAMMS courses are nationally and internationally recognised through national bodies such as the Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETAC), the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI) and the European Commission as all HETAC credits are recognised European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits.
